SUMMARY
An exceptional opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, single owner example of the legendary 300bhp, second generation Focus RS, offered without reserve.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 2009, the second generation Focus RS took Ford’s performance hatchback formula to new heights, quickly establishing itself as a highly regarded modern performance Ford
- Powered by a turbocharged 2.5-litre, five-cylinder engine producing 301bhp, driving through a 6-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential
- The RS may not have had four-wheel drive, but a combination of Ford's trick Revo-Knuckle front suspension, the Quaife LSD and well-judged ESP did a great job of putting the power down and managing the torque-steer while still providing plenty of involvement
- This example is finished in Frozen White with RS badging and standard black Recaro sports seats with blue RS stitching
- Presented in largely standard specification with no noted upgrades or modifications beyond routine maintenance items
- A single ownership car from new, offered from a deceased estate, showing less than 16,000 miles and accompanied by its original book pack with owner’s manual, audio guide and service book along with four MOT Certificates from 2019 to 2023
- A low-mileage, single owner Focus RS, requiring only light cosmetic attention to bring it up to a very high standard, and offered without reserve, is not to be missed
