SUMMARY

DESCRIPTION

The Bentley Arnage Diamond Series was built to celebrate 60 years of Bentley production at the historic Crewe Factory and is one of just 60 produced, with only 19 in right-hand drive. This example remains superbly presented in beautiful Sapphire Black (sometimes referred to as Black/Blue Sapphire) with a Cotswold leather interior and Burr Oak veneers. Externally, the Diamond Series is distinguished by a stainless steel matrix to the front bumper, new larger diameter, bespoke 19" x 8J twin-spoke alloy wheels, and Union Jack badges to the front wings.

Highly specified, it features diamond-fluted seating, veneered picnic tables and a wood-and-leather steering wheel, together with navigation, cruise control, heated seats front and rear, and front and rear parking sensors. Built to Diamond Series specification and notably specified without a sunroof, it further benefits from factory-recorded Mulliner non-standard features including quartered straight-grain veneered waist rails, picnic tables finished in quartered straight-grain veneer with boxwood inlay, together with its Diamond Series identifiers, creating a particularly well-considered and discreetly specified example of Bentley’s flagship Arnage. The Diamond Series also saw the reintroduction of the 'Flying B' mascot, a feature that last adorned the radiator of a series-production Bentley in the late 1970s. Mechanically the model was based on the Arnage R and was available with either the 400bhp or, at extra cost, the 450bhp version of the Crewe-designed and produced 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

This striking example is powered by the 400bhp twin-turbo, 6.75-litre V8 with automatic transmission and was purchased brand new by our vendors from Bentley Hadley Green (now H.R. Owen), and first registered on 1st December 2006. Currently indicating 39,964 miles, the service book shows a PDI stamp and 15 Bentley main dealer service stamps in the service book and a selection of main dealer invoices accompany the car.

Uplift by EM Rogers back to their storage facility in Northampton is £175 plus VAT for a standard sized vehicle and prices start from £275 plus VAT for larger vehicles. Storage will be charged at £12 plus VAT per day from the Monday for the first 14 days then £40 + vat per week from there on.
