A superb example of one of the rarest Superbike homologation machines ever. Used once for a promotional track event in 2021 and unused since. 40 original miles from new and presented in fantastic overall condition. No paperwork included with this bike.
DESCRIPTION
- Developed by Petronas with the intention of competing in the 2003 World Superbike series
- The first 75 were built in the UK with the following 75 scheduled to be built in Malaysia by Modenus
- The Championship rules changed and the Petronas was not as competitive as hoped
- The FP1 had some good results in 2004 but the project was axed at the end of 2006
- Remains one of the rarest Superbike homologation machines ever built and shrouded in mystery
- This example was used once for a promotional track event in 2021 and has remained unused since on display in a private collection
- Complete with its original keys and toolkit
- No paperwork included with this lot. If the buyer intends to register the bike, they will need to do so directly with the DVLA
- May require some recommissioning before use
