DESCRIPTION
- The Ducati 900SS Imola Replica is a special version of the standard 900SS, featuring a single-seat, 'Café Racer' style fairing reminiscent of factory Ducati race bikes like the 1970s 750 Imola, with the specific 904cc engine referring to the 904cc displacement of the L-twin found in the 900SS
- The 'Imola' versions were often created by customisers or dealerships to pay homage to the original Imola racers, rather than being a factory model
- This 1998 900SS example has been beautifully built as modern retro replica of the mid 1970s 900SS and finished in the classic Ducati racing colours of silver and blue
- The bike has the raw appeal of the mid 1970s supersport but is fully up to date with LED lighting, upside down forks, Brembo brakes and fuel-injection
- The bodywork features a fiberglass nose fairing and seat unit with a hand built and welded metal fuel tank. The upswept megaphone exhausts are in keeping with the classic theme
- In running condition and was showing 20,900 miles on the odometer at the time of photography
- Supplied with a current V5C and MOT along with an excellent MOT and service history
