DESCRIPTION
- The 916 was a masterpiece penned by Massimo Tamburini, universally regarded as one of the most beautiful and influential motorcycles ever made
- Powered by a 916cc, liquid-cooled, Desmodromic L-twin engine producing around 109bhp with a distinctive exhaust note
- Used Ducati’s signature lightweight and stiff tubular steel trellis frame for exceptional handling and a pure sport riding experience
- Featured an innovative, stylish and race-derived single-sided swingarm to allow for quicker rear wheel changes
- Introduced the revolutionary underseat dual exhaust system, a design feature copied by nearly every subsequent superbike
- This early 1994 example Biposto is finished in a Senna III livery, completed to a good standard and in good running order
- Engine was blueprinted by Luigi Moto for the previous owner
- Also fitted with a 50mm Termignoni exhaust, Ohlins rear shock absorber, Brembo racing master cylinder and 'wavy' discs
- Recent recommission by Baines Racing at Silverstone including full service, cambelts, fuel pump, fluids, new tyres and new battery
