A striking and superbly presented example of Bentley’s great 1990s Grand Tourer.
DESCRIPTION
- The Continental R was launched as the flagship of the Bentley range, a two-door coupé combining Crewe’s craftsmanship with serious performance, powered by the turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 producing around 360 bhp and 500 lb ft of torque, driving through a four-speed automatic transmission.
- The example seen here is displayed in the elegant combination of British Racing Green with bright chrome front grilles and a Spruce-piped Magnolia hide interior complemented by the expected rich Burr Walnut veneers and deep green carpets
- Specification includes electrically adjustable and heated front seats with memory, dual-zone climate-control, cruise-control, ‘Town and Country’ horns, Alpine stereo with CD changer, and 17"7 spoke alloy wheels
- The car is accompanied by its original stamped service booklet, a substantial history file with invoices and MOT records, and its owner’s handbook pack
- Substantial expenditure in 2018, approximately 3,000 miles ago, (c.£9,500) includes an engine service, hydraulic service and replacement of the rear brakes as well as other miscellaneous jobs
- It appears that the underside has been lavished with considerable attention and it’s believed the car had a full suspension rebuild in the past
- Incredibly, while in our vendor's care, there has been further expenditure on the cosmetics including refurbing the wheels and centre caps, the underside was subject to a ‘sub zero detail’, the paintwork received a 3-stage machine polish and ceramic coating, and the leather was professionally cleaned

Uplift by EM Rogers back to their storage facility in Northampton is £175 plus VAT. Storage is £10 plus VAT per day for the first seven days and £40 plus VAT per week thereafter.
