SUMMARY
A striking black-on-red 928 S project with the desirable manual gearbox.
DESCRIPTION
- In 1985, Porsche introduced the 928 S fitted with a 310bhp 4.7-litre version of the engine, beginning to deliver the car's true potential and achieving a 0-60mph in seven seconds, but the larger engine's real trump card was its torque-rich in-gear acceleration around the mid-range (50mph-70mph) sprints or indeed any acceleration from 3,000rpm is in the supercar league
- Registered in 1985, this example has been part of a private collection with very little use since 2006, completing less than 200 miles and therefore will require recommissioning
- It's finished in Schwarz with a Can-Can Red leather interior featuring black piping, matching red carpets and door cards, with a contrasting black dashboard and centre console
- Fitted with a 4.7-litre naturally aspirated, water-cooled V8 engine producing just over 310bhp, driving the rear wheels through a dog-leg 5-speed manual gearbox
- The specification includes air-conditioning, electric sunroof, trip computer, electrically adjustable heated front seats, and an aftermarket music system
- Supplied with its original handbooks, stamped service book (to 2006) showing ten Porsche entries alongside numerous Porsche receipts
