DESCRIPTION
- Created by Honda in the early 1980s for endurance racing homologation, with around 1,500 RC examples produced
- Amongst the most exclusive and expensive production motorcycles of its day, often acquired by race teams and serious collectors
- Powered by a 1,062cc air-cooled inline-four producing up to 115bhp, paired with a 5-speed gearbox and delivering strong, flexible performance
- Imported from France by the current owner in 2019 and used sparingly since due to ill health
- Finished in the factory colour scheme of white with red and blue livery, gold ComStar-style wheels, chrome mirrors, red seat pad and a lockable storage compartment beneath the tail
- A landmark in Honda’s racing lineage and one of the quickest production motorcycles of its era, this CB1100RC would sit proudly in any collection of landmark Japanese multis
