DESCRIPTION
- First introduced in 1979, Honda's big thumper was a success, aided by the fact that its engine was very smooth and tractable for a big single, with none of the usual vibrations associated with them, due to the fitment of twin counter-rotating balance shafts
- Great dual-sport bike featuring a large 23-inch front wheel for off-road stability, and serving as a capable, road-legal trail bike that was often a more affordable alternative to Honda's more focussed XR models
- This excellent example has recently been imported from Cape Town, where it underwent a light restoration and has been used sparingly since its arrival here
- Benefitting from a recent carburettor clean and, we understand, is running well
- Supplied with a folder of South African export paperwork including the SA version of our V5 and various items of import paperwork including the NOVA
- UK-registered on a current V5C and correctly classed as Historic
- The last of the twin-shock bikes, this is an excellent example of Honda's big off-roader and offers a great opportunity to purchase a well sorted machine in great cosmetic order
