This smart little FS1 is presented in Candy Red with just 386 miles since a full restoration in 2016. Dry stored since and remains in standard specification with no noted modifications to engine, chassis or appearance.

 

 

DESCRIPTION

  • The FS1, commonly known as the Fizzy, was a hugely popular 49cc two-stroke moped introduced by Yamaha in the early 1970s, quickly becoming a cult classic among young riders
  • Finished in Candy Red with chrome detailing. Impressive presentation with factory-correct paint and correctly detailed brightwork
  • Powered by a 49cc two-stroke engine coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox, producing around 4.8bhp and capable of just over 40mph when new
  • This example remains in standard specification with no noted modifications to engine, chassis or appearance
  • Non matching numbers, appears to be fitted with a later engine
  • Restored in 2016 to a high standard and since dry stored in a small private showroom for approximately five years, with just 386 miles indicated, believed to be since the rebuild
  • UK-registered on a current V5C
