DESCRIPTION
- The CB400F (or 400/4) was the very first production Japanese motorcycle with the hardware and aesthetics of a truly modern sporting machine
- 408cc and four cylinders made it smooth and economical compared to its two-stroke rivals
- Its European-influenced design included low handlebars, rear-set footrests, and a prominent 4-into-1 exhaust
- Hailed as a 'mini-superbike' upon its release, it offered a blend of modern sporty design with a manageable engine size
- This 1978 model has been beautifully restored to the gleaming example it is today
