DESCRIPTION
- Built especially for the UK-market with pedals, this learner-legal 49cc moped was sold in the UK from 1975 through to 1977
- With a zippy 4.8bhp engine and a 5-speed gearbox, it was robustly built and critically, was faster than its main rivals, the Yamaha FS1E and Honda SS50
- Officially sold as an A50P but better known as an AP50
- Just two owners from new. Supplied by Kings of Birmingham and registered on the 21/06/1977 to its first owner who kept the bike for some 37 years before our vendor purchased it 11 years ago
- Very low indicated mileage of just 8,271, believed to be correct
- Recent sympathetic restoration with the emphasis on retaining originality - frame powder-coated, new paintwork and a new seat cover
- The chromework is original and displays a light patina
- Described as a good usable example, running well and ready to be enjoyed
- Supplied with a current V5C, some old MOTs and receipts
