SUMMARY

This pretty Tipo 105 GT Junior now features a 2.0-litre Twin Spark engine, Alfaholics brakes, and modified suspension for fast road work.

DESCRIPTION

  • First registered on 22/09/1975, this Dutch Blue Alfa GT Junior is described as a 'light restomod' by our vendor, with a nod to Alfa's legendary GTA
  • The restoration and a lot of the development was carried out by Lombarda Sport of London around 2012 with details in the car's substantial history files
  • Notable upgrades include GTA bodywork set off by a set of rare ‘deep dish’ GTA 14" alloys, Alfaholics GTA-R Style grilles, centre heart, new headlamp units, bowls and bulbs.
  • A later 2.0-litre Twin Spark engine running fuel injection fitted by Alfa specialist Lombarda Sport with print-outs confirming an output of 172bhp
  • ‘Fast Road’ Suspension Package installed and set-up in 2021 by Bonello Autos (£3,300). New springs and shocks with a lowered stance. Including Alfaholics GTA Adjustable top arms and poly bushes all round. 2000 GTV LSD
  • Alfaholics 4-Pot Brake Package, including adjustable dual circuit brake balance box and reservoir and feedline kit, supplied & fitted by Alfaholics (circa £4,500)
  • Our vendor acquired the Alfa in 2020 and as you can see has gone through considerable effort and cost in order to make this little GT Junior an excellent fast road car and a further £3,600 has been spent bringing the interior up to spec with invoices on file
  • The cost of replicating all of this work today would be substantial, so, this sensibly guided example could well be the answer for anyone hoping to join the world of 1970s sporting Alfas
