DESCRIPTION
- Introduced as the flagship model for the Escort range, the RS2000 followed the RS1600 and was built by Ford’s AVO facility using the strengthened Type 49 bodyshell and powered by the Pinto OHC engine
- With restoration starting in 2015, this RS presents in outstanding condition throughout, having only ever been trailered since completion
- Finished in Olympic Blue with darker blue decals over a black cloth interior, the original colour combination from new
- Powered by a 2-litre Pinto inline-four rebuilt Ivor Greenwood race engine
- With only shakedown mileage covered since completion, a period of running-in will be required to obtain the best from this increasingly desirable Ford
- Supplied with numerous invoices, along with photographic evidence of the restoration

Fully restored from 2015, usual new panels and welding, resprayed in Olympic Blue, fitted with the correct blue stripes. New glass fitted, including blue top tint screen, with new rubbers. Any chrome replaced by London chromey perfect. Fitted with MK 2 RS wheels, which are personal preference though MK 1's can be available.

Uplift by EM Rogers back to their storage facility in Northampton is ÂŁ175 plus VAT. Storage is ÂŁ10 plus VAT per day for the first seven days and ÂŁ40 plus VAT per week thereafter.
