1971 Lamborghini Espada S2 - Offered Directly From Harry Metcalfe

The Lamborghini Espada remains one of the most distinctive grand tourers of the 1970s, its sharp Gandini styling wrapped around a 3.9-litre V12 offering both performance and refinement. At the time of its launch, the Espada was positioned as Lamborghini’s flagship four-seater GT and remarkably, was even more expensive than the Miura, underlining its exclusivity.

Between 2020 and 2021, the Espada underwent a comprehensive engine and suspension rebuild by respected marque specialist Ian Tyrell, documented in detail on Tyrell’s Classic Workshop YouTube channel as well as Harry’s own. Designed as a true Grand Tourer, Harry has used the Espada as intended, driving it down to Monte Carlo among other long-distance trips. Most recently, in September 2025, Harry documented a journey across the Yorkshire Moors with his dog, Stanley, happily travelling in the rear seats. This trip demonstrated not only the car’s practicality but also that it has been mechanically sorted in recent times to ensure it drives exceptionally well.
