DESCRIPTION

  • The Bultaco Sherpa was a revolutionary trials motorcycle developed in Spain in 1964 in collaboration with trials rider Sammy Miller. Its lightweight, two-stroke design made it superior to heavier British four-strokes, dominating the sport and leading to eight World Trials Championships wins in the 1970s

  • This superb example has recently been fully restored and with much spent and is ready to ride or show
  • Full nut and bot restoration including the frame powder-coated and professionally painted, sealed fibreglass tank and new roller head-race bearing
  • Full engine rebuild including re-bore with new piston and rings, new bearings and seals and a new crank, new cables new airbox and filter and the carburettor has been ultrasonically cleaned with new jets fitted
  • Both wheels fitted with stainless spokes and have new trials tyres fitted, along with new chain and sprockets, new swing-arm bushes, new rear springs and the forks have been re-built. The bike retains its original mudguards
  • Described as running well, with a lovely light clutch action, the bike is not yet fully run in and will require sympathetic use for the first few hours
  • Supplied with a V5C, Bultaco Club Dating Certificate, a list of work completed on the bike, and some invoices
  • An exceptional opportunity to purchase an excellent example of a rare Bultaco Trials bike in first class order.
