DESCRIPTION

  • Introduced in 1969, the Honda CB750 was regarded as the first superbike and transformed the motorcycle market with its four-cylinder, overhead cam engine and electric start
  • Presented in its original Candy Ruby Red with correct early details including the left-hand horn bracket, double-cut front mudguard, 'wrinkle' fuel tank, smooth oil filter housing, rolled rear rim and sandcast instrument gearboxes
  • Fitted with the 736cc inline-four, SOHC engine producing around 67bhp with a 5-speed gearbox and front disc brake, capable of over 120mph
  • Restored by marque expert John Wyatt of Rising Sun Restorations using new old stock genuine Honda parts, later completed by in-house restorer Phil Hagon after John's death
  • Carried frame number CB750-1001792 and engine number CB750E-1001890, completed on 26/05/1969 and imported from North America prior to restoration
  • Now freshly UK-registered and supplied with a new battery, running perfectly and presented in superb order throughout
