DESCRIPTION
- The AJS Y4 'Stormer' was a 250cc motocross bike introduced in the late 1960s, initially developed by Peter Inchley from a Villiers Starmaker-powered racer for the 1967 TT
- The production model was then released for the 1968 season and featured a 247cc Starmaker engine in large-diameter, thin-wall single-backbone frame constructed from Reynolds 531 tubing and a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox
- These bikes were normally built for motocross but some were built for road racing/track-use
- This is a track version and is CRMC eligible
- Presented in good overall condition and same owner for last six years
- Fibreglass fuel tank
- Complete with old CRMC Certificate and some other race-related paperwork
