DESCRIPTION
- First introduced in 1955 as a Tourer, the R50 cemented BMW's post-war reputation as a builder of fast reliable tourers and continued in production until 1969
- This bike was originally exported to Sweden and then found its way to Hungary, where it lived for many years before arriving in the UK in 2016
- This matching-numbers, first-generation R50 has been owned for eight years by our vendor, its only UK owner
- Described as running and riding very well and has formed part of his private collection
