DESCRIPTION

  • The Adler MB250 remains one of the most technically interesting quarter-litre motorcycles of the post-war era, admired for its advanced two-stroke engineering and distinctive German styling. Built during the mid-1950s, the MB250 combined innovative design with strong performance, earning Adler a reputation for producing motorcycles that stood apart from their contemporaries
  • Produced by Adler, the MB250 featured a horizontally split crankcase and an unusually sophisticated engine layout for its class, reflecting the marque’s engineering-led approach. These qualities have ensured lasting interest among collectors and enthusiasts of post-war European motorcycles
  • This circa 1955 example carries frame #307039 and engine #308404. It has been restored at some point in the past and today remains a smart and honest machine, retaining good overall presentation. The engine kicks over freely and has good compression
  • The motorcycle is fitted with an HBCO saddle and a Pagusa rear saddle, both desirable period accessories. No paperwork accompanies the machine, and it is not UK registered
  • An great opportunity to acquire an increasingly rare Adler MB250, offered in attractive restored condition and ideal for recommissioning, display, or further sympathetic refinement
