Ex-competition, New Zealand-export BSA ZB1 Gold Star 499cc. Fitted with rare double-dampened front forks and close-ratio gear box. Recently restored to its current condition and in running order. Not UK-registered, imported pre-Brexit so it is the buyer's responsibility to register the bike.

DESCRIPTION
- Only produced for a year or so and utilised the 'plunger' frame
- The Gold Star version was fitted with a ZB34 500cc engine
- This example was exported to New Zealand in May 1951 as a 350cc ZB1
- We believe the bike was used in competition and fitted with a 500cc Gold Star engine
- Fitted with rare double-dampened front forks and close-ratio gear box
- Recently restored to its current condition and in running order
- Not UK-registered, supplied with BSA Dating Letter
