Plunger-framed Square Four in good overall original condition and in running order. Part of a private Collection stored in a heated hangar for the last 13 years and used on a regular basis up until recently.
DESCRIPTION
- The original Edward Turner-designed four-cylinder 'superbike' launched in 1930 as a 500cc OHC fitted into a conventional Ariel 500cc frame
- By 1935, its capacity was 1,000cc with a totally revised engine layout including dry sump, one-piece crankshaft and a Solex carburettor
- This original example is presented in good overall condition and in running order
- Same owner for last 13 years and used on a regular basis up until recently
- Part of a large collection and stored in a heated hangar
