DESCRIPTION
- Arthur Wheeler was a highly successful motorcycle dealer and racer, notable for his privateer exploits in GP racing
- He competed in the Isle of Man Junior TT on a 350cc in 1949 and scored a win at Monza in the 250 class in 1954
- This machine is believed to be one of his bikes, complete with a large history file containing numerous documents, letters and photographs
- 247cc OHC single-cylinder engine, Reynolds frame and 4-speed gearbox
- Purchased from Arthur Wheeler and has remained in very original condition, albeit now has Norton forks
- Sold in 2005 from Murrays Museum on the Isle of Man and now restored to its current condition by our vendor
- An important piece of Italian and UK motorcycle racing history and presented in running order
- Good addition to any Italian or race bike collection
